George Tsatsos

Biography

George Tsatsos was born in Athens and educated in Greece and Zurich (ETH), where he graduated as a civil engineer. He served in the greek Navy. He has had a career in industry, running cement factories in Cyprus, Estonia, Poland and England, and in an advisory role in many countries, including: Poland, Croatia, Russia, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Egypt and others. In Greece he led, for about 15 years (1967-1983), Heracles General Cement, the then largest cement company in the country. He also managed building materials businesses in Poland, Latvia and England. He was based for 24 years in London. In 2009 he returned to Greece and since then lives in Kifisia-Athens.
